How to find open play pickleball
Open play is drop-in pickleball: you arrive during a posted session and rotate in. Pickleball Court Hub prints it only when the venue's own website says "open play" or "drop-in" about pickleball. The court page quotes that line and shows the date we checked it. If the city page denies open play while the venue claims it, the note stays off.
How to confirm it before you go
- Open the court page and read the quoted sentence, not just the badge.
- Follow the venue link and check the date. A schedule can change after we last read the page.
- If the page names a fee, a membership, or a day, that wording is the source's, and it is labeled.
The labeling rule is also on the methodology page.
